Group visits and presentations

Plan your group visit to the Bank of England Museum and learn about our group presentations

Visiting our museum as a group

We warmly welcome groups to visit the museum for free. For groups larger than 15 people, please pre-book your self-guided tour slot.

When booking a slot, please note that each event offers multiple time slots over a three-month period. To find your slot, look for the event that spans the desired timeframe (e.g., to book in December, check the event that starts in October and then navigate through the calendar).

To ensure a smooth entry, please arrive promptly at your chosen time slot. Your group will need to pass through security in groups of 10 before starting the tour. Activity sheets are available at the reception desk to enhance your visit.

Talks for adult community groups in the UK

We offer presentations for adult community groups based in the UK. Community groups are groups who work for the benefit of the public. We accept bookings from adult community groups who operate on an ‘open-to-all’ and ‘not-for-profit’ basis.

Please select the talk that is most appropriate for your group size. All our talks are free and need to be booked in advance.

If you would like to organise a talk for people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), please send us an email so we can discuss your requirements further.

For more information, email us at education@bankofengland.co.uk, or call us on 020 3461 5545 (Monday to Friday), between 10am and 4pm. If the line is busy, please leave a message and we will call you back.
